What is Virtual Coworking?

Feeling disconnected, unmotivated, or simply wishing you had a way to safely share space with others and still preserve your energy? It sounds like you need to Cowork with Bela, my friend.

Don’t be daunted by the “work” in coworking. We define work as energy expended. Period.

My sessions allow you to share a safe space with others while doing whatever working looks like for you. Some of us study, paint, read, or perform our jobs. Others drink coffee, sing, or relax in bed. This is how we work and it’s all valuable.

How Does It Work?

We use a platform called Butter which is quite similar to other apps like Zoom and Teams (but better, especially with privacy). You show up with your camera on and your microphone muted, request to enter the room, and that’s it! I’ll smile and wave to you once you’re in. You can then choose to share in the chat what you’re doing if you’d like to. And if not, that’s okay, too!

Oh, and the best part: these coworking sessions are completely free, always!  There are no hidden costs or sneaky motives, just straightforward productivity.  Of course, if you insist, you can always buy me a coffee.  I never say ‘no’ to the drink of the gods.

Yeah, you are! Click the calendar links below to add the current sessions to your calendar. You can also subscribe to the calendar as a whole. If you don’t use Google Calendar, check out the Cowork with Bela calendar in iCal format.

If, for any reason, the calendar links aren’t working for you, here are the individual links for each recurring session:

Since I don’t require registrations for the sessions, it means there really isn’t any way I can notify you if I need to cancel. I recommend subscribing to the calendars since it will instantly update for you if I need to cancel.

  1. Hey Bela,

I loved the co-working session and got a lot done! Thankfully I didn’t have many meetings today so I could do the focus work. I look forward to the next time I can do this!
