Instructional Design Mock Interview 9/30/21
Devlin Peck is at it again with a brilliant live broadcast tomorrow, September 30, 2021. He will be hosting an Instructional Design Mock Interview with Alyssa Clark and Min Tang.
Out in Tech Atlanta | Amplifying LGBTQ+ in Tech 10/7/21
Out in Tech, in collaboration with Reddit, is hosting a virtual event on Atlanta, where the start-up culture and tech boom is exploding! The event takes place on October 7, 2021 - register on EventBrite!
Elementor Page Builder
Elementor offers a code-free, live editing page builder on WordPress to transform your website into something spectacular! Although I am proficient in HTML, CSS, and WordPress, I use Elementor's page builder to speed up my web design process and can't recommend it highly enough!
Free Personality Test
In a recent conversation with the amazing Kathleen Volk, we were discussing personality types. As a result, I took the Free Personality Test by 16 Personalities. I was astounded by how accurate the results were and am already on my path to learning more how I, as a Campaigner type, can continue to improve!
Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace
Power to Fly offers a free guide on Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace. As someone who is neurodivergent, this is near and dear to me. We need more organizations accepting learner variability and designing for inclusivity.
Networking 101
The Mom Project has created a wonderful, quick guide on starting to build your network using the tools you already have.
Andragogy & Malcolm Knowles
You've likely heard of pedagogy, the method and practice of teaching children. Andragogy, coined by Malcolm Knowles, applies to adult learning. eLearning Industry provides a great article summarizing Knowles Principles and Assumptions of Andragogy.
